Many have asked “How can we help those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey?” Here is your chance. UMCOR is currently working with disaster coordinators and early response teams to provide relief to the many people whose lives have been impacted by hurricane/tropical storm Harvey. PHUMC has answered the call and is asking for your help to provide Flood Bucket Kits and Health Kits. Information on how to make a kit is in your September Church Messenger Newsletter, here at www.phumc.net (see below), at the Welcome Center, and at the Missions table in the multi-purpose room after Sunday services.
We will be delivering the completed kits Sunday, September 17 after the second service. This is a quick turnaround time, but we want to make sure they get to the people who need them as soon as possible.
The kits that we are asking for your help to make are:
Flood Bucket Kit.....estimated value $65 Click here for a detailed description
Health Kit....... estimated value $12 Click here for a detailed description
Both of these kits will be headed to Texas to the people who need them most.
