Habitat for Humanity

Friday, March 1 We will be painting a house in   Tarpon Springs in connection with Habitat for Humanity.  More information to follow. Ages 16 and able to volunteer. Save the date.

 

Florida United Methodist Children’s Home Day on Campus

Join us on Saturday, March 16 for the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home Day On Campus. This is an opportunity to tour the campus, attend special programming and performances from the children, enjoy a free picnic lunch, and more! Sign-up will begin  Feb. 11. PACK A SACK will be packing each Thursday evening. 

It is time to start packing! We have been partnering with two schools in Clearwater, Sandy Lane Elementary and Calvin Hunsinger for many years. The needs at these two schools are great. These children are food insecure and may not have food on the weekends. That is the purpose of the Pack-a-Sack program. Each year we receive more and more requests for students who qualify. We need your help. It costs $160 to sponsor a child for the school year.

 

 

Giving Hope Needs You    

As we enter into the fall, the need is greater for volunteers to help at Giving Hope. Giving Hope feeds the homeless Monday –Saturday by distributing bags of non-perishable food and sandwiches to those in need in North Pinellas and Pasco. From preparing the food for distribution to deliveries and everything in between, this vital ministry to our community needs your help.
