Over the next ten weeks, we will explore the overarching story of the Bible as a means of inviting you to taste and experience the power of the Scriptures personally or, perhaps even better, in the company of others hungry for a fresh vision of life as God intended it to be. As you prepare to begin our study, my prayer for you is that the Scriptures will astonish you. Whether you have some previous experience of the Bible or none at all, this class and study will open you more to the message of the whole Bible.

This study, written by Asbury Theological Seminary professor Dr. Brian D. Russell, promises to help us see the Bible like never before. Dr. Russell’s only request is that you pray this prayer when you read “God, I am here, ready to listen and receive all that you have for me. Astonish me with your Word. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
