Wired to the Word is a group who seeks to learn and grow in our faith through studying the Bible, other books, and video studies with Biblical teachers.  We are a mixed group of all ages of adults.  We have members who have the "gift" of teaching and we are blessed by the use of their gift.

Men

MEN'S MINISTRY

PROMISE SEEKERS

Leader: Paul Wydro

Promise Keepers is a movement of men that encourages men to be better Disciples of Christ, husbands and fathers. These promises are embraced throughout the class. Our goal is to learn more about walking this Christian life in a manor pleasing to Our Lord; it is also about building relationships with each other. Sometimes we just sit and talk in a group setting with folks sharing what is on their heart. What is said in our meetings stays in our meetings. Various studies are either in book form or from RightNow Media.

Day, Time & Location of Group: This group meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ZOOM. Please email for the link to join for approximately one hour.

MEN OF PRAYER

Leader: Brian Lennon

As Men of Prayer, our primary purpose is praying for needs in our church, the community, and the world. Please join us for a time of refreshing by the Holy Spirit through our prayers and the Word. The group is open to all men who wish to participate. Drop-ins are always welcome.

Day, Time & Location of Group: This group has not resumed in person since COVID, but we continue to pray for the needs of the congregation.   Please call the church office if you are interested in joining.

Women

WOMEN'S MINISTRY GROUPS

L.I.F.T. (Ladies In Fellowship Together)

Leader: Andrea Ceely

In LIFT (Ladies in Fellowship Together), our mission is to go forth, gather, encourage, develop and grow all mothers and caregivers to realize their potential as women, mothers and leaders in the name of Jesus Christ.  “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” We meet together to decompress, recharge, and develop meaningful friendships in the midst of mothering. Our meetings include brunch, speakers, crafts, and lots of conversation. It’s a time to connect with moms in the same season, as well as mentor moms who have traveled this road ahead of us. While moms are connecting with other moms, the little ones enjoy fun activities and snacks in the nursery.

Day, Time & Location of Group: This group meets the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (with few exceptions).  The first Tuesday meets on campus in room A202-203, the 3rd is virtually on Zoom.

HARBOR ANGELS WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Leaders: Chris Burns

A community of Christian women who desire to grow closer in relationship with God through Jesus, to

develop a joyous and supportive fellowship with other women through God’s love, and to give back to the community through participation in various mission opportunities.

Day, Time & Location of Group: This group meets at various times throughout the year.

THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

Leader: Karen Martin

This semester, we are studying Trustworthy: Overcoming our Greatest Struggles to Trust God by Lisa TerKeurst. When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. The cost of the workbook is $15.00. If you would like to join the study or have questions or nursery needs, contact Karen. Come join us for great study and fellowship.

Day, Time & Location of Group: This group and meets every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the church in A202-203 and virtually on ZOOM.  They will be taking the summer off.
