As part of the Body of Christ here at PHUMC, our members are very dear to us. When one member of the body suffers, the whole body suffers. When one member of the body rejoices, the whole body rejoices (1 Corinthians 12:26). The mission of PHUMC Congregational Care is to walk with the members of the congregation through life’s journey, offering love, support, encouragement, and hope.

Support Groups
We offer support groups for the needs of our church family. Groups are subject to change as needs change. Currently, we offer:
Courageous Sisters
This group is set to bring together women who are going through the trials of cancer in a loving, supportive Chrisitan atmosphere. The ladies strive to listen in love, share their trials, laugh and pray together, share information, and support each other. This group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5 p.m. in the chapel. Contact Yvonne White at 727-785-4827 for more information.
PHUMC Grief Group
Have you lost a loved one? You don’t have to journey through this time alone. Join us as we support each other through difficult times. This group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel and on the third Friday of the month for lunch. Contact John Kiker at jk@kikerservices.com.
